Are Baby Nests Safe?

Baby nests should only be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and under adult supervision.

Many pediatric organizations recommend that babies sleep on a firm, flat sleep surface specifically designed for infant sleep, such as a crib or bassinet, for routine sleep.

A baby nest is not a replacement for a crib, bassinet, or other approved infant sleep surface.

To use a baby nest more safely:

Always place it on a firm, flat surface.
Keep your baby under adult supervision while using it.
Never place the baby nest on sofas, armchairs, or soft mattresses.
Do not use it in a crib or bassinet.
Never carry the baby inside the nest.
Stop using it once your baby begins rolling over or pushing up independently.
Keep loose blankets, pillows, and toys away from the baby.

Following the manufacturer’s care and safety instructions is essential.
