Know When to Call Your Doctor

Seek medical advice if your newborn:

• Has difficulty breathing
• Refuses several feedings in a row
• Has a fever (especially in the first months)
• Is unusually sleepy and difficult to wake
• Shows signs of dehydration
• Has persistent vomiting
• Appears blue around the lips
• Cries inconsolably for prolonged periods
