Burp After Feedings
Burping helps release swallowed air.
Common burping positions include:
- Over your shoulder
- Sitting upright
- Face-down across your lap
Some babies burp immediately.
Others may not burp every feeding, which is usually normal.
Support Healthy Development Through Tummy Time
Although babies sleep on their backs, they should spend supervised awake time on their tummy.
Benefits include:
- Stronger neck muscles
- Better shoulder development
- Improved motor skills
- Reduced risk of flat spots on the head
Start with:
- 2–3 minutes
- Several times daily
Gradually increase as your baby grows.
